Please be advised the Horace Mann Building will be closed this summer.
One of our main goals in our program is to provide high quality early childhood education to both families and students from a pre-natal stage to age five. We work closely together to ensure that our students are well prepared for success in kindergarten. We are also proud recipients of the Illinois State Board of Education’s GOLD and SILVER circles of quality at the Preschool level. The curriculum we use in our Preschool and Early Childhood Classrooms is called the "Creative Curriculum" which addresses social/emotional, language, math, literacy and cognitive development. These five areas are assessed three times per year using Teaching Strategies GOLD. Your child will also be learning the important school expectations of BE RESPECTFUL, BE RESPONSIBLE and BE SAFE. Please plan to participate in Parent/Teacher Conferences and our Parent Connections Nights scheduled in the months of October, November, January and March.
We look forward to another great year in partnership with you as we support our youngest learners!
Please do not hesitate to contact us anytime during the school year if you have questions or thoughts you would like to share. Thank you for your partnership as we work together to support your child’s education!
